Easter Sunday

It is so much fun watching Kayla really start to understand holidays. She had a great Easter Day. We did Easter Bunny first thing in the morning, then went to Church with the Fergus family, then brunch at the Fergus' county club where they had an easter egg hunt.
We are entering into the world of Barbie. Kayla pick out the Barbie car for easter.

1st Soccer Game

Kayla had her first soccer game today. It was quite funny watching 3,4 and young 5 year olds playing soccer. Kayla is one of the youngest players but she is going great (or so I'm told). She will actually stay on the field and run after the ball (for most of the game). There are a few 3 year old boys on her team that will not stay on the field and when they do go on the field, they are playing in the dirt. Grandma Di, you will be proud that she did not once try to use her hands during the game. There are no refs and they do not keep score, but of course Paul did on the sidelines. Kayla's team WON 8 to 5.

Kayla was a starter. This was at the beginning of the game.

Easter Egg Hunt

Kayla had her Easter Egg Hunt at our neighborhood this weekend. She was not interested in the eggs, she went for all candy. The all had a small petting zoo. She enjoyed that. She would not touch any of the animals at first, but she warmed up quickly.

Some First

Kayla Started Soccer last week.

She had her first practice and has her first game next Saturday. It is quit funny watching 3 and 4 year olds trying to understand soccer. They get so upset when someone kicks the ball away from them even through that is the whole point of the game.

Kayla also went to her first NASCAR race this weekend.

Paul had a friend that had a trailer in the infield of the Atlanta race this weekend that invited us to come down for the day. She was so excited. She had a great time watching the cars go fast and screaming for Tony to go fast.

We had to park pretty far away and walk in, so we used to stroller to push everything in, even the cooler. She was not to happy about sharing her stroller with the cooler.
